Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation positions itself as the Hub of Gerontech – it is now home to 70+ technology companies who are involved in the research and development of Gerontech solutions, with the objective of serving elderlies in both an institution (Institutional Care) or a community setting (Ageing-in-place). With our domain expertise, our team seeks to walk Gerontech developers through the Gerontech translational journey – from nurturing talents, facilitating their product development process to expediting user adoption of their user-oriented Gerontech solutions. Our goal in the long run is to develop a robust Gerontech Industry, such that NGOs will be empowered with the right, high-touch Gerontech to serve more and serve better; and our home-grown Gerontech companies can take to an international stage – from Hong Kong, all the way to Greater Bay Area and the world.
