To promote the concept of “Age-friendly Home” (AFH) and application of geron-tech for elderly living in the community, Housing Society Elderly Resources Centre (ERC) will showcase a mock-up kitchen for elderly with geron-tech products and AFH design in GIES 2017. In addition, ERC will also provide health screening tests and interactive games focusing on healthy ageing. Key geron-tech products to be displayed include: 1. Auto Power Shut-off Device for Gas Cooker 2. Wireless Flood Detection Alarm 3. Light Switch Robot Arm 4. Nutrient Intake Scale 5. Salt Checker 6. Remote Home Safety Monitoring Devices 7.
