The Lotus compact is an active standup aid for persons that can still stand upright independently and have sufficient trunk stability but cannot or found it difficult to walk. The carer can move the client safely and efficiently after he/she moved onto the Lotus compact. The Lotus compact is meant for short transfers, for instance from the bed to the toilet. Because the client takes on an active sitting position, less force is needed to return to the standing position.
